In Christmas,I go for skiing with a friend on Christmas.We can see beautiful illminations in the night. It makes us happy. And we eat a cake with a friend . Good Christmas!
In New Year day, we spend with our family and relatives. We have toshikoshisoba . That is buckwheat noodles eaten on New Year's Eve Then we go to temple and wish about family, happy, health, etc. And some people does omikuji. Omikuji tells our fortune.
We sleep,go shopping,go traveling,go back to family's home and pay a visit to a shrine on New Year's Day in the New Year holidays. We eat rice cake boiled with vegetables in the New Year.

New Year celebrate is more important. On December 31st,family meet together. And at midnight we eat Toshikoshi soba(Japanese noodle). On January 1st,We say "Akemashite-Omedetou"(=Happy New Year). Children receive Otoshidama(money). We eat Osechi(taraditional food).

Hi again, hope you're all doing fine:) This weekend I went to see a Japanese movie festival that included some animes like "Paprika" and "Ghost in the shell" and some documentaries. I liked it very much. In Christmas I'm going to my homeland (Portimão, Algarve) to spend it with my parents. And in new years eve I'm going to the north of Portugal (Porto) to spend all night in a yacht with Dj's until the sun rises;) it will be great... I'll be waiting for your replies.
